Resurgent
lively
groups playing cognitive roles in society while addressing
issues of Adivasis, Dalits, minorities, women under stress,
and functional literacy.

Organizing
the deprived women and preparing them to assert against
inequality, for their rights.

Eliminating
social evils such as witchcraft, liquor consumption, dowry,
polygamy, child marriage, etc.
-
Fostering
self-reliance among rural people through income generation
activities like Goatery, piggery, cattle rearing, poultry,
pisciculture, horticulture, cottage industries, etc.
-
Conserving
the natural resources and using it appropriately for
sustainable development.
-
Networking
with various women movements across the country to share and
exchange knowledge, information and learning.
Mahila
Sabhas (MS) as institutional structures exist to act
invariably in three forms :

Community
institutions acting towards implementing project activities.
-
Self-help
groups (SHGs) to execute the livelihood development
activities.
-
Social
change agents advocating on varied issues of human
development.
